Armored Freightliners

So...What do you guys think of these. How much do you think they should pay? 573 miles and almost certainly no back haul.

Brokers dont know what a backhaul is. Being that is auto driveway nj, i would prolly say they are going for around 1 dpm each. Thats my guess, its hard getting contracts from people who have mulitple units like this. Everybody wants the cheapest price/best smooth talker when it comes to mulitple units as they claim

I was thinking minimum $2 per mile each and 2 per load. They weight 9100lb each so I can haul 2 at a time. I'm hopping Cosgo will chime in on this one. The company is Cambli out of Canada and NV. If I could lock up a few of these, it might make it worth buying a larger truck so I could haul 3 like sheamus's t300 and trailer for sale here.

Funny, auto driveaway just called us, but the chicago office. Calling us on to move a box truck. Make the call buster!!!! Doubt you would get over $600 per vehicle though. Let us know the price. 3 would be the ticket. But since the load is going thru a broker first, doubt you would get realistic prices unless it was a hurt move!! They will get moved at 1dpm, just not all at once, but still curious on what they are offering.

I called them. They said $2.20 per mile for 2 and they have 29 available at 2 per week.

LoL, so you coudnt grab 3 if you wanted too.

Not bad, right on the money!!!!!! Bet they quoted $800 per truck and giving them away for $600. Should be paying $700 to carrier to be fair but should of quoted $900 and payed carrier $800. Thats how i would of worked the deal, but hey, everybody wants the cheapest shipper these days. They dont care if it makes the truck driver go for broke

I don't think they think carriers are going broke hauling there cheap stuff. Alot of people think any thing over gas money is profit!

Hauling 3 of them with Cosgos freightliner an suncountry you would be real close on your weight if not over I would think. I'm not sure but that's my guess.

You couldnt do it on the sun country as you'd be over on the trailer axle. Id haul 3 of those at a time all day long in my rig for $3.30/loaded mile. ( I think I read it right, they offered you $2.20/mile for 2 right? ) The backhaul is the catch. I haul a lot of armored vehicles for 2 different companies, and they all go east, so its pretty easy to get a backhaul. Going west on the other hand, im not real familiar with that territory. Its a good rate, but your equipment better be set up for it. All that weight can kill your truck and trailer if you are running a set up that is not built for it. These are the type of loads that Im glad I upgraded equipment on. Itll kill a one ton and wedge trailer.
