Truck Stop Resturants
They all suck. You may find good food every now and then but most of them can screw up breakfast. Their service is what gets me though. When you walk in you can count on having to wait awhile for your server to come to you. Every time, it's a given. Travel Centers of America, Flying J, ...................they all suck on service. I promise that when I go on vacation I'll never stop at a truck stop to eat!

I agree! You can usually wedge yourself into or get close to a cracker barrel and there food is atleast good (most of the time). Or I just fast food it for breakfast and hope for the best the rest of the day.

Here's my take on that subject. I will always stop at a Truck Stop if there is one around. The problem now is that there are very few truck stops around anymore. Most are now travel plazas. They might call themselves truck stops but they're not. In the old days when they catered to truckdrivers it was all different. The travel plazas cater to tourists. Sadly I throw FJ, Petro and TA all into the travel plaza category. There are still a few of those that are pretty good but it isn't like it was. Another part of the past we have all lost with the changing industry.
Stay safe out there. Ken |
