Im assuming he means this trailer which is actually 41 feet long while the deck length is 32 top and 33 bottom but overall length 41.
Now saying that just means the owner isnt too smart about the length of his trailer. Also, the gvwr is higher then 10k which also means just to pull the trailer would require a cdl in florida. Maybe somebody should send him a email to this site to teach them regulations or to prove he dont need a cdl driver?? Very interested............... Oh, heres the trailer i bet he is using, the very last trailer. http://www.appalachiantrailers.com/c...r-trailers.php LOL, theres my crack for today, my 1 post!!! haha gn Assuming this is there site also. http://parkavenueautomobiles.com/ http://www.facebook.com/parkavenuemedia Even doing more research, they are all over the internet!!!

A Car Dealer over in Irving bought an Ford F550 and an enclosed 50ft Car Hauling trailer to pick up his own cars he bought at auctions all over the country and to deliver cars he sold on e-bay all over the country. He quickly found out the cost of operating that $75K set-up and decided to start hauling cars off of load boards (CD) to help offset the costs incurred while running his own stuff. Anyways, we met at a Starbucks there by the Irving mall for the "Interview". Asked him why Starbucks and not at his lot (I knew exactly where his lot was) and he said to keep the riff raffs from knowing where he was at. I met him, we talked for a few minutes, he looked over my resume, we spoke about my experience, and then he asked if I had any questions. I started to ask about his insurance, his authority, who does all his DOT filings and upkeep (MCS150/Logbooks/Etc) as well as his IFTA filings and such and he had this "What the hell are you talking about Look!!!" on his face. He then started saying "Hey, all I need is a driver in that truck and it was none of my business as to "How" the trucks business was going to be handled". I then ended the "Interview" right then, said give me my resume and that job application I filled out back, wished him luck and walked away. I ran across that truck and trailer set-up on e-bay about 6 months later. Truck still had no markings on it and still looked "New". To this day I wonder if he finally got his asss handed to him and the uninformed driver at some scale house somewhere. I'm bettin' he did, know what I mean. |
