Chiped windshield

Was on my way to Dallas last week and about 2 in the morning with no one around me and something hit my windshield in several places. Inspected the next day in daylite and found 3 separate rock chips.
Has this happened to anyone else or is stuff falling from the sky to ruin my day.

Yep. I've heard the hit yet nothing was around. Head over to Walmart and get the $10 repair kit. Think I fixed one 10 times before it took a fatal hit on an edge and cracked.

I was thinking either somone was shooting at me or rocks falling from the sky.
