Cool deal.

I was stuck in Topeka, Ks xmas eve and xmas day. I left Elkhart on the 23rd. Finally made it to my driveway last night. arrgh! I gotta take it to Denver tomorow.

I had a 36 foot 5er and that baby didnt like 40 mph sidewinds on slicked over roads. It was hard to pull it over cause I wanted to be home for xmas..

Since Dec 10th I ran my ass off. 2 to Salt Lake, one to Des Moines, one to Columbus and one to Denver.

The 2 trips to SLC was all f'd up from the snow. Boy I bet this last one has Nebraska about slammed full of snow. I dropped south and ran I72 and hwy 36 accross Mo. Wasnt far enough south.. It got me...

So far Indiana Transport has been a great place. Its great to be working with all the people I used to work for again!

we got piled in up here to. monot got over 24" with 35-45 mph winds, a real mess. stating to get cleaned up today. i figure i'll get going on wed. just got done blowing the drifts out of the driveway, now if i could just get the city guy with the loader to get the road!!

Dang, 2 feet.. Topeka had about 8 inches with 50 mph winds. The hardest thing was getting out of the walmart parking lot. They had 2 feet drifts. I made it about 50 miles xmas day and the wind was just too much. So I gave up again.

I parked at Junction City, Ks. between the truck stop and walmart. There walmart hadnt been plowed yet. I was entertained by all of the people that thought walmart was open xmas day and got stuck in the parking lot. There was about 50 people that got stuck. A wrecker finaly came and rescued many of em.

I laughed and laughed.. I almost fell out of the truck a few time watching the people get stuck..

The best was a couple teeny girls.. They were in a new volvo car. They got stuck going into the walmart. 2 guys helped em out. They take a side road and get buried bad. They call dad. He shows up in a new caddy car. Gets stuck too. lol

They call a wrecker. He pulls em out. The dad leaves.. The girls take another side road and get stuck again. lol They call dad... he arrives.. Waves his hands in the air from madness. Call wrecker back up and get em unstuck again.

He makes the teenys follow dad out of the parking lot.

I barrell laughed so hard my stomach hurt...

Poor dad prolly had to pay 250 on account of his smart ass daughter..
