I don't know where this should go? Probally be better off in the "loony bin". Anyways here part of it goes................I got this 04 jeep grand cheerokee and 93 ford e-350 box truck(uhaul truck with moms attic look a like) stuffed with crap. I talk to the guy Thursday and arrange pick up for 9am Friday. Here comes the funny part...............wait..............the guy calls me at 7am and asks me if he can put his dog in the jeep for the 1000 mile ride to Dallas! This dog is a lab pitbull mix that he says isn't freindly. So here on the front page of the newspaper in some town I was passing through it says "truck driver drives himself to the hospital while pitbulls hanging from his nuts!" Anyways got out of the dog transport by blaming the DOT for searhing my truck at inspection stations. Get a call this afternoon and the guy says he only has half the money he owes me. So here I am in another f'ed up situation but I'm not stressed out. Luckily tomorows sunday and I'm not in a hurry.

Well, you're already breaking the law with the box van stuffed full of household goods, if you don't have operating authority for moving household goods. Why not a couple of dogs too. IIRC, they would be legal as livestock is exempt from needing operating authority to cross state lines.

No money, no truck full of stuff, hope he kept out a change of clothes.

Id call the guy monday morning. Give him 2 hours max to get things straight. If he doesnt, then i hope you dont have a backhaul yet. haul his crap straight to a storage yard (like one in Yorkville, IL. that im familiar with =) ) and charge him both ways plus storage. dont give this guy your whole day.

Update...since I have been dealing with Dorsey all day and last night about this. This moron is not getting any of his shit. It is being stored. His boss was gonna bay the other 1/2 with a credit card but was not gonna be around a fax or anything to send a signed cc authorization form back. He was pretty much questioning Dorsey's wife like they were not a legit company. Basically, if we would have charged his card he would have tried doing a charge back. Do we look that stupid... well Dorsey may, LOL but he's not. Dude wanted him to drop off the cars and give Dorsey the title and keys(since he said that was the only set he had...yeah right) Two new titles and two new ignitions cost alot less than a $2k transport. Really pisses me off when people try to play you for a fool.

Coop...Don't play like you don't know whats going on. hehehe. Love you Baby. Happy Anniversery :)

I already have them off my truck and into storage but yea if I would have known about this at pickup I could have dropped them at that storage up in yorkville that cosgos so fond of. Could of made some good money on this trip...........2k for original, 2k for trip to storage, plus storage fees, plus whatever other vehicles I could of brought this way. Could of ended up being a 6-7 dollar a mile trip. I'm gonna have to start charging you guys for entertaining you with this bs I post.

Do I need to set up my fenced acre that has 24 hr security provided by 2 large guard dogs and a pissed off retired paratrooper armed with an assault rifle and a full combat load of ammunition near Fayetteville, NC. There's easy access to the interstate, plenty of room to drop and have 4 truckstops within a 20 mile stretch of I-95 as a mid point dumping ground. Shouldn't be too hard to find a load out of here with Raleigh, Fayetteville, Copart and several military bases in the area.

This could start a network of drop sites.

The guys boss paid up today for him. He wrote on BOL that I didn't deliver at location that's on the contract. But he did sign it. He called me when he got the vehicles home and thanked me for getting his vehicles down here safely. Weird!
