New Ford Diesel

Well boys a transported a 2011 Ford 350 this week that had the new 6.7 scorpion diesel. Took it to a tech center in Fl. The guy and I were talking about the new motor. He told me to hop in and take it for a spin on there little test track. I tell you what, it was a standard cab 4x4. They flat out move boys, that thing down shifted from a 20 mph roll and lit the tires up with ease. I will tell you I had a 2010 Dmax on the truck also & it was not nearly as responsive as the new Ford. I won't be buying a Ford any day soon but it was fun for a little spin. Being that a owned a 6.4 Ford that was lemoned, the new motor is even more responsive. I would love to have one for a toy and put a good tune on it.

Yah, spartan and ford have some sick combos out there. Wouldnt be suprised if you could hit 11/12's with just the spartan tune. Thanks for the info on the new fords!!!

I hope this one works as it is suppose to versus the previous two motors. Regardless, everytime I have loaded or climbed around one of their HD trucks over the years, it is near impossible to beat their chassis. Everything on them looks like it is suppose to take a beating & keep on ticking. Hope they do not change that either. ;)

The one I had on the trailer wasn't that pretty. Just a plain jane work truck. Seats where nice though:)

Looks like they styled there new dually fenders after Dodge's mega cab dually. Its a good looking truck, maybe after a few years of proven reliability they could become an option again.
