Uploaded some pictures (http://www.slide.com/r/g7mU5QGn7D_ekvduT74iAazcOyHpxsrr) at slide.com last summer & just updated them again. Too many to post & probably too many to look at. But if there is a simpler format let me know.

Ok now how do you keep the truck so clean!!
Ok now how do you keep the truck so clean!!
There is a pic in there showing an irritated Bear because her truck was dirty.;) Just gets washed once a week or so & wiped down afterwards with a wax mist. Maybe wax it twice a year.
I had sold the original set up (the RIP pic) to a guy in TN. who stuck a driver in it. The driver melted down the turbo trying to climb out of Pagosa Springs, CO with the accelerator to the floor & caught the truck on fire. I bought the flat bed back & hauled the old truck back to where they had storage in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Was never so irritated to see how dirty the truck was with 10 bags of fast food sacks down in the floor board, crap on the dash & dirt ground deep into the leather among other things. Only took them 5 months to absolutely murder what was a nice set up. Couldn't even look at the truck in the rearview on the way to Shreveport w/o wanting to find who & where that driver lived.

Sorry to here about Bear. I know how it is losing a family member that is by your side everyday. B, you have(had) a great setup. You don't say if the equipment is still intact. Hope the best for you and the future baby bear II.
Safe Travels,
Pete
Thanks, got a new dog named Cheyenne last Tues. that is approximately 16 months old. Wouldn't have got another so fast, but she was in a kill shelter running out of passes & couldn't let that be. They took her in 12/28 & because she is a Chow mix & black, people were passing her by.
However, there will never be a replacement for Bear.
Anyway, meet Cheyenne

As far as trucks, trailers 'n stuff, have a different set up to get ready to go hopefully by the first of the month.
Learned a valuable lesson last night... Cheyenne squeezed out the door as I was carrying something out & sprinted around the yard. Thought kool, can catch her here, then she bolted across the road, through a field & down in a bunch of houses with me (trying) to sprint behind her. Caught her after about a 20 minutes or so, think she was wore out & just gave up. Most of the neighbors were either pointing or grinning as I went past.
Anyway, while the name Cheyenne looks ok in print & doesn't sound that bad, you CANNOT scream it in that tone to get her attention. Sounded like a gasping out of shape idiot chasing her!
Although, hoping she puts 2 & 2 together today as she is at the Vet's getting spayed.

You may not remember from Bears childhood but it takes Time and Patience!

Heck I have one now thats an old fart, he'll just decide he's going for a walk. And since he's half deaf you just half to go get him.
You may not remember from Bears childhood but it takes Time and Patience!
Oh I remember, she was an escape artist. Had a 20 x 24 x 6 pen with houses for her & another dog we had. She could jump a six foot tall panel & was off on tour of the neighborhood. Put two tarps side by side over the top & she just split the middle, walked across the tarps & bailed off. When she got out, the other guy would dig down below to get out. So had large bricks & what not to protect the bottom EVERYWHERE & ended up having to extend the top to 8' or so.
They were indoors whenever I wasn't at work, kinda thinking they thought they owned the house & let me stay here.;) All pieces of furniture were puppy proofed with sheets, blankets, quilts etc.

Have some old pictures from years ago (pre digital) that am going to upload to disc soon, but a neighbor caught a photo of Bear walking across the the top of the pen on the tarps.
Also, have to apologize as this wasn't meant to be turned into the pet hour, but research the foods you feed & decide from that data. Had spent more for some of the premium stuff over the years at a Petsmart or what not. But after really looking into it as of late, there are alot of fillers even in that stuff that isn't good for anyone. Wish I knew it back then...

Tons of info out there via many more sites, just never knew how much it really mattered. Ended up cooking for Bear the last year and a half or so because of kidney issues & trying to find something she would eat w/o issue.
It does make you wonder how long they could go if they had had the really good stuff from day one?
This is the photo mentioned earlier. My neighbors Dad ran & got his polaroid to catch Bear in the act while I was at work.(look top center of tarp) Had to be somewhere around fall '98 +/- Scrappy acting innocent waiting to start tunneling below & Bear realizing she was caught.

It is all overkill for what it is... but really nice that the truck could care less loaded or empty.
