Would anyone know what the GVW is on a 93 Ford F350 is with a 7.3? :rolleyes:

This is right from the Ford Recreational vehicle and trailer towing guide 1992-3....

The GCWR of the Fseries trucks towing a frame hitched trailer.

F series with 7.3 and automatic is:
355....12000lbs
410....17000lbs


F series with 7.3 and manual is:
355....12000lbs
410....14000lbs


The CGWR of the Fseries trucks towing a Fifth wheel trailer.

F series with 7.3 automatic is:
355....12000lbs
410....17000lbs
513....18000lbs

Fseries with 7.3 and manual is:
355....12000lbs
410....14000lbs
513....17000lbs

Oh crap, you want curb weight, oops!!!

GVW is 10k just under the 10001 requirement!

The reason why I am asking is because I am planning on towing a 14K 36 foot enclosed trailer and want to stay under the 26001.The payload for the trailer is 9,200 lbs. I don't want to mess with IFTA. I should have stated that the truck is a 1 ton dually crewcab. I am not worried about needing a CDL license. :rolleyes:

Ninth generation (1992–1996/1997)
* F-150: 1/2 ton (6,100 lb GVWR max)
* F-250: 3/4 ton (8,500 lb GVWR max)
* F-250 HD: 1992–1997 Heavy Duty 3/4 ton (9,000 GVWR max)
* F-350: 1 ton (10,000 lb GVWR max)
* F-Super Duty: 1 ton plus (15,000 lb GVWR max)
