Anybody using any truck tracking devices? Ive used trackyourtruck for a while, but pricing was high and the equipment kept failing. Im looking for an affordable real time tracking system. I was tracking the guys with the iphone, but they dont all have them now, so i cant do that anymore. I looked at budgetGPS.com, but just not sure. Any ideas?

Tony might chime in here. He has a way of setting up those cheap disposable phones to track. As long as the phone is in the truck and powered up, you can find it. When he and I were working together, I had one in my truck and my wife loved it!

free realtime tracking, can be used on any smartphone.

Lookout security. Can even scare the crap out of them with a siren. Once setup on phone, it starts automatically with phone so if phone resets, it still works.

If you set this up through Boost Mobile, its about $50 for the phone and about $10 a month for the service. Just put one phone in each truck.

I wasnt saying hack there phone, I was implying that you get them to install it so you dont have to bother them all the time with where you at, unless you are going for extra protection reasoning then yah, gotta pay.

I use Omega GPS in my Truck, Its a unit you put under your dash. the customer can go online and view your location, Speed.... or even where you have been for up to 90 days. I have mine hooked up to my alarm system so I can shut my truck off if it is stolen.... I think I got the unit for $500 ish
