This has happened numerous amount of times. If its quickpay, 10 day, 20 day, 30 day, so fourth. Its good to verify they received your BOL and INVOICE.
I cant tell you how many times even after multiple faxes that we have called on payment to find out they never recieved fax, and some of these brokers dont start the billing cycle untill they do.
This is a great and common scam brokers are doing these days to use your money as credit, maybe even to the less smarter carriers lose the money altogether. (not every carrier is good in accounting).
Crappy thing is as stated many times in previous threads, CD wont do anything about it because obviously there is no documentation, and even if there was documentation, CD still wont do anything about it. CD is a neutral venue like uship, they dont care about your stories, they just want your monthly fees.
In the end, calling to verify they recieved the fax really doesnt do anything either, they can still play that game if they wanted too.
If this happens to you, easiest thing to do is first day after billing cycle, just call up there surity bond. There is no point in playing games with these brokers. They will play games with us, but not there surity.
This doesnt happen much, but I have seen it a few times from the less reputable brokers.
Just a heads up....
