Help!!!

i just lined up a little job for next week, and i need to reactivate my numbers, but the problem is that i never went for my new entrant audit, what is the quieckest way of going through this?

i never showed up for my new entrant because i thought i was not going to get back in the business.

I think it is a 2 to 3 week process getting insurance amended to the filing, as well as getting gov't workers to...work. Not sure if any outside agencies can speed up the process or not, it would probably cost more than the job is worth.

your probably a month away from being able to haul anything legally if you start everything now. next week aint gonna happen..

Call the FMCSA 800 number and get the straight scoop from them. I have had insurance foul up the filings 2x this year with incorrect dates and been revoked :mad:

Both times I sent them a letter and a $75 Credit Card authorization and was reinstated the next day (AFTER getting my insurance company to fix their screw up.)

$200.00 job but you would have to get insurance and reactivate your authority..... Doesn't seem like it would be worth it to me.... You would only be making $120.00 - cost of fuel, Etc. It costs $80.00 to reactivate your authority.

its 200 a load these people are moving from one warehouse to another, i would be making about 20 of these trips in 3 to 4 days

If you are planning to continue on with the business after you do this job it would be worth it but if this is a one time deal I would forget it.

im going for it, getting insurance tomorrow, and spoke to fmcsa today, $80 and it will all get reactivated, i think i might have gotten a good deal on the insurance too,

the only reason im doing this job its because its going to pay me as soon as the job is done, if not i would never be able to get this going

If anyone was wondering about what happened with my situation,
I got insurance, I paid all my ifta up to date, applied for a tag, then to be stopped because my authority was revoked, for not submitting to a new entrant.
I'm waiting for my pin numbers to reapply and get the authority, and submit to a audit before the truck can go on t

Good luck and don't get frustrated. It takes time for the fmsca to get things working.

Just make sure you have log book entries as they will fail you without them. Even if its just one load. Good luck
