Tony,

To provide you some information on what my contacting you is about:

I stumble upon cartoter.com and see where your forum is on the topic of auto transporting the industry I've been a part of for over 30 years. In those years I've been involved in every aspect and wanted to introduce myself and ask to have CarrierRates.com added to your forum under Brokers and Load boards.

My years in the industry have been spent as a car hauler, owner operator, founder of small auto transport company, broker and onto designing, developing, and implementing CarrierRates.com.

Through those years I became totally consumed and extremely passionate about making a positive different in the auto transport industry and started developing a system. This different had to be one that would provide positive results to allow both the carriers and shippers to succeed.

For the carriers the system needed to provide the following:
1. Online,
2. Easy to use,
3. Free to auto transport carriers to become a member,
4. Available to be used by any size auto transport carrier.
5. Allow the carrier to post the rate they need to meet or exceed their
profit margins.
6. Allow the carrier to arrange and be paid by the shipper direct (no
third party involvement).

For the shippers (dealers, auctions, rental cars, van lines, individuals,
etc) the system needed to provide the following:
1. Online,
2. Easy to use,
3. Inexpensive ($240 per year, plus $3.15 per vehicle posting)
4. Provide a complete system that allows them to post, view auto
transport carriers schedule and pricing, assign orders to carriers, and track shipment.

CarrierRates.com is not a system designed to beat the heck out of the carriers. Rather a place for carriers to speak what they need, when they need it and for shippers to locate quality auto transport carriers that meet their requirements quickly.

CarrierRates.com currently is a lesser known online auto transport shipping logistic system that's operating at a grassroots level, seriously providing the industry a tool that meets or exceeds the expectations of both the shippers and carriers.

Well, there you go on what I'm after, please email me back and let me know either way as to whether or not you are up to adding CarrierRates.com to cartoter.com.

One last note - I will be registering on your forum sometime today.

Thank you,

John Skelton

I dont bother anymore. wether its shipjack, carrierrates, etc. They have no loads that arent posted anywhere else. we stuck with cd as one and only worth your time type deal. Although I hate to say it ive been doing a few loads extra on uship that I have time for. Just booked a 2.00 per mile load 1100 miles for just trailers on uship. fork on fork off repeat customer type deal. not praising the site but if you got extra time to play, i would say that is the next best thing. Wether you guys want to hear it or not. Ive been saying this for 2 years now and the marketing they are doing is unbeleively jumping faster towards new things.

You can delete my message about uship if you like if you dont want that site spreaded around on this site like the other site was doing. I wont mention that crap anymore! hehe Just figured while we are on topic of other sites. figured I go that extra mile and say how they are a waste of time!!!! just my cents

Just what we need another bidding site so guys can lowball each other.

Auto Transport Carriers register here, to start receiving and bidding on vehicles moves posted by shippers that match the area you provide service to nationwide and Canada.
