Virtual Phone Software/PBX

We recently got www.onebox.com Maybe you never heard of 1box before, but they are the same company who does www.efax.com which by the way you can use a line as a fax and get another 800 or local fax line thru the software too. We got the $80 per month package. They do have a cheaper package for individuals or small companys. Still tweaking the software and its buggy, need to call them again and fix some things, but overall, its pretty nice. Maybe it looks professional, maybe not. But if you do alot of phone handling, this is nice. You even get a 800 or local phonenumber, and can route to different lines. Plenty of options. Very nice stuff. If you guys can think of something cheaper or a 1 time buy, let me know.

Anywho, just though I would post, check out the video demo of how it works. 1 month free *, kinda. Read the * small print. Anywho, CD called us today. Its only like a 20 seconds voice mail. But she was speechless sort of say. She really liked the software, even though we were to busy to pick up the phone, lol, both of us as it rings 1 line, then 2 the other line if I dont, options, options, options......

yep, never uploaded music file that I can think of, so im using this lame ad site which will take about 1 minute to finally hear the file, but its funny, especially coming from CD as they talk to many transport companys.

Yeah, Asterisk. There is a smaller and easier to install version called Trixbox. It's free and almost every VOIP service out there uses it as a starting point.
But then you have some other background work to do like Call Termination and Origination.

Been doing that sort of work for years.
