Nice! Love the cover and face. Tuned about perfect for a cobra and should live a long happy life.

I have over 1 million miles on a Ranger RCI 6900 Ive owned it since 2002. http://www.www.premiere-electronics.net/store/rci6900f25.html it has a 10 watt dead key and can be turned to 40 watts output on conversations with a turn of the knob. Its controllable from 10-40 watts. I have about $300 in the radio plus another 100 in the mic and antenea.. I added controllable echo myself. It has all the other features, like beep, talkback, side band. It has 600 channels. I use em fairly often out on the road. I use an Astatic mic and an Astatic antenea. I love it when I want to be heard I can be..

The only drawback to an export radio is they have a large frame. They also pull around 5 amps of power for the small ones and some of the large ones require 8 gauge wire from the battery.

The Ranger I have is made with a CPU board so its not repairable. But the sound is incredibly clean because it uses micro resistors and computer technology. I can tell ya you could throw it across the room and it would still work.

Being able to buy such a high end radio for so little money makes it tough out there for cb radio guys. But guys who offer the personalization that this guy offers is why he will be in biz a long time I bet.

That is a nice radio. Ranger makes one with an LED screen with blue tooth, memory stck port to display pictures and an MP3 port. What will they come up with next.
