Trying to google a little but maybe you guys can help, especially you Haulin.

I wanna improve the ride of my dually. Thinking that ladderbar setup with airbags or something like that. This bad riding has to stop. im stuck with this truck for a long time, truck will be around for prolly 1,000,000 miles. or more, i should/better have more trucks but i will still love my first girl. And she will have to ride better then what she is doing now.

So post up some links for airbag setups. Thanks

So hard to choose on which kit. The rear kit doesnt include the $800 complete air management system so I would have to fill her up either tire valve or make my own up. Complete kit for 1100 more adds it in..

Telling my new driver if he stays out for the first month that I will get him a kit when he gets home. Both would be nice, but thinking maybe it just needs the rear as that is where all the bouncing around is..

This is about the simplest design I have found, The top red cross bar in the pic, does not go there,

Only problems I see with this company is they dont make anything for 3500 DRW 2x4 and they are twice as much.

Any others out there?????? haulins link looks perfect so far. Its cheap, 100% bolt on in my front yard maybe in a few hours time.

There is a system that uses your springs and replaces the rear hangers with airbags was rated very good by people who used it can't find it right now will keep looking.
Found it http://www.keldermanmfg.com/category.php?id=1

Which 1's???

I am about to call on the kelderman 4 link 2wd but im afraid thats gonna be real expensive. The kelderman posted above doesnt even remove the springs.

I still like the original, its cheap, 4 link!!! although the kelderman at 1300 price tag looks nice, but how much nicer could it be on stock springs.

Well your taking a fixed point the rear of springs and making it move so your springs still hold the weight but the end of the spring can move taking the jar out these wonderful roads in the US. It only helps ride does nothing for increasing load. I think it makes perfect sense, at least to me.

So your thinking the $1300 kit would be the way to go since im not trying to increase load, I guess. I dont even understand what increasing the load means. But yes, im going strictly for ride quality. $1300 and $2100 are super nice, but too competely different setups. Wish I could hear real results but in theory, do you guys think they both would ride and handle the same?????? If this were the case I would just go with the kelderman $1300

Coop, I'm no expert but I would be concerned about an air bag system that only replaces the rear spring hanger. It just seem unstable. Also I suspect it would make the truck feel mushy or squirrelly. Just my thoughts.

My question would be how long will they last, both will wear. Would like to see a kit before I committed to either one. Should only be 4 or 8 bushings in the shackle kit to wear 10 or 20 in the 4 link. And poly bushings do not wear better I have used them for years. Stock rubber ones will outlast poly. Again depends how they are made ?

Myself I would want a system that gets rid of the springs, for one just to loose the weight. Plus your gonna add a little weight adding a air ride system. There are 2 bag systems and 4 bag systems, they should all be rated to carry the oem axle rating. It is just a matter of how much $$ ya want to spend.

Kelderman's 2 bag kit is great product for light duty use (rv haulers, boat haulers etc) but for our use it puts a ton of stress on the rear of the spring. When I talked to them they said to use the 2 bag kit we would also need to have spring work done and still there was a possibility of bending the rear of the spring.

I personally dont think my springs are even good. I was actually gonna replace my springs and take out my ride rites and put back in the bumpstops and then I got to thinking air bags suspension.. Guess were still at the $2100 setup then.

As for spending money, my truck has about 300,000, i hate investing into the truck so late into her life, but it just keeps going thru my head, I aint never gonna sell her. So a $2100 budget isnt bad for what it does. The complete setup from airbagit would be nice for another $1100, but $2100 sounds so nice and attractive.
