I got an email from a company calling themselves Metrogistics requesting a positive feedback in exchange for a positive feedback. Has anyone received the same email. I looked them up on central and they have a 100% rating at 22 feedbacks. I don't know about you guys but I work hard for my positive rating and don't want to do business with someone who bought theres!

This is a copy of the email.

How do you think those idiots who have names few state side can pronounce gather positive ratings exporting $.20 cars or the pop up brokerages out of Miami?

Would love to see a longevity report of the lifespan on some of those start ups.

You could always forward it along to the staff at Central, am sure they need some humor for the day.

This is the responce I got from Central.

We have received your email complaint concerning MetroGistics LLC. I would
just disregard.
We will be calling them to discuss this matter. They sent it to many
companies on CentralDispatch.
Thank you for the heads-up.

Regards,
CentralDispatch Staff

On their Central account they claim to be a third party logistics provider, which is a huge part of the transportation industry. However in auto transport, that means there is a customer, a broker, the 3PL provider then the carrier. Possibly better stated as another hand dipping into an already small pot.

You have to wonder if they aren't tied to Auto Trans Mart/JMN logistics in some form?

Hopefully Central made them prove vehicles were dispatched for their 25 positive ratings they have thus far.

That's bullshit. We've worked HARD for EVERY positive feedback we receive.

We are at 100% positive with right at 100 ratings. Central doesn't count duplicates, we have 32, yes 32 positives from Dave Mungenast Lexus of St Louis ALONE, but only 1 counts.

They repo feedback if someone leaves CD. We've LOST 11 positive ratings because companies have left Central. We EARNED that rating and should keep it.

I suppose the good is that if you have a negative from a crap broker and they go under (Express Auto Trans comes to mind) that negative goes away, but fortunately we've never gotten that benefit as we work hard to insure we never get the negative to begin with.

I've only had to LEAVE 2 negatives. Both of them are now gone from CD...

Hey Buster
Want to apologies about sending you that CD feedback email, we were testing a new service called ConstantContact and there were a few carriers that should not have received that email, your being one of them. CD did call us and let us know of their concerns with the email. By no means were we trying to buy any feedback but more importantly trying to establish feedback from the carriers that did in fact move a vehicle for us that have not rated.

We work with our carriers very closely, offer multiple payment options including wire service to get our carriers paid when they need it and Im sure if you asked anyone that hauled a vehicle for us that they would say that they enjoy the working relationship with MetroGistics.

Again we apologies about sending you that email,

Take care,

Scott

metro253, After reading your explanation and rereading your initial email, I can see how what you are apologizing for could have happened. I have not hauled for you in the past. You can see how this would look to those of us who have worked hard for our ratings could be unhappy with this type of a request. Thanks for the explanation. Lee

It was an honest mistake; we were testing the ConstantContact product to eventually use it to send out our available loads to the carriers that want to get them in a simple format.

Not sure what areas you run in but if you want to shoot a note to info@metrogistics.com we can get you setup. Our rates are very fair and we offer multiple payments options for flexibility. And we’re always looking for quality carriers to help us out.

Take care and be safe out there!

Guess we are popular too as we got this email not to long after you received your email. Its nice of metro to come on here and do quality control but I dont beleive this was done on accident. Either way, tactics are tactics and if they have a good load, i will still take it.

Teeter Transport is screwing the Metrogistic guys over. Metro had some decent paying short mileage new stuff out of the St. Louis area & now noticed Teeter is in the wrecking stuff.
