Who is Car-dispatch.com? http://www.car-dispatch.com/

Got an e-mail from them saying they will pay me(a certified broker) $2 per car I dispatch through their site.

1: I am not a broker.
2: As a carrier that irritates me.
3: Am not forking over another $40 a month for another board to see the same postings that Central has.

Who is running this or using it?

A carrier called me last year with a new load board, but it was complicated & the few postings I saw on there were truck load 7-10 car stuff mainly. Kind of wondering if this is a revamped version of that old site.

I also got this email today. I'd have to imagine whoever it is must be on central and building their marketing list that way.

Something else, if they actually attract carriers, is certainly appealing to me from the Broker side. I'll try damn near anything to get things moving more quickly, as this time of year throwing money at things isn't working.

Well that is the thing, aside from the $2 kick back for the dispatch to the broker, it is going to be the same people as on Central. Their price structure is $39 a month, so not seeing the value of the place.

Are there any other dispatch sites that trucking companies really use besides Central?

ive been thru all of them, none of them even have 5% of CD. And yes, the same loads over there. Use that posteverywhere site. I still get a descent load off u$hit here and there, but brokers are taking over with there lowball bids. I just got so much time on my hands in front of these monitors, im still on that crappy site either way. But way to much work for what I get. No different from buying leads, buy 100 leads, call 100 leads, get 1 good sale. Way to much work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But this is from my experiences, maybe somebody has a hot tip I dont know about like www.1dpmcareverywhere.com???

Well , I read the nice things you ppl wrote here about us so we decided to answer :

Who is http://www.car-dispatch.com

1.We’re 3 Internet entrepreneurs that have done large scale web projects for clients (We do that from 1995) . Like any other project we did, we bumped into this opportunity totally by mistake and decided to go for it.

2.As we did with other projects, we took industry specific consultant that worked closely with us on the business issues and workflows.

3.We are very happy with the result we bring ( BTW – cost us a fortune to develop and implement )

4.NO, we are not connected to Central by any way or means.

Our Business Concept :
A.Since Central is the only Serious Board around, it will be nice and refreshing to have an alternative.

B.Our Website aim is to offer certified brokers and carriers a premium website and services such as, Automated Dispatching for Favorite Carriers ( ppl Broker knows already he can trust , and they can take his car automatically from the board.)

SO – The Answer is NO , we do not want to be as Central. We wish to built a professional Brokers and Carriers community that wish to work with each other without stealing cars , making broker go crazy or making him try trace the carrier in any mean .

This is the reason why we verify & check manually every person registered + documents.

One of the aims of our Rating system is simple. We will kick out any problematic Carrier and enable ONLY good man to work for Brokers. This is Strict, and we will enforce it.

Same goes for Problematic Brokers who will make trouble to Carriers.

C.Better Quality Service that will help you guys manage your business more efficiency, saving you time and get your work done with less hassle is the issue we first went for it.

Finally : To compete with Central will take tons of time , $ and effort. Competition has always been good for business. And Yes , we expect to get ROI out of our website.

If you believe in our vision , we invite you to join us at http://www.car-dispatch.com

This appears to be an Israeli company as their server is .il, which makes sense given there is some grammatical and syntax errors. Not that this is important, just an observation.

I like what I hear so far! If they really want to build a client list that is reputable, instead of selling memberships to everyone they can find, then it may be a reasonable alternative.

I did try post everywhere back in the late part of last year. I didn't get not even one call, and I posted everything we had at the time. My experience wasn't great. Then again, I couldn't keep loads on central at the time so maybe its worth a shot again.

I am all for competition in the market place. But time & time again new boards come & go because they simply cannot gather enough carriers or brokers at the same time. Cars sit, customers get irritated & membership declines.

With exception to some irrational monthly premium increase at Central Dispatch, your best bet would be to try to sell some of your technology you have in your vision to them now.

Some of the larger brokerages have their own load boards & other brokers communicate with trusted carriers via an odd concept of e-mail or phone calls.

One thing you guys mentioned about ridding your board of problematic carriers or brokers is going to be a tough one to impose. Too many scenarios & too many people involved when something goes wrong & you are going eliminate a paying customer of your service that you expect a return on your investment?

Not trying to be problematic nor sarcastic, just not sharing the vision at the moment.

Wow I find reading that tough, if your going to try and compete and sell us on your service it would good to "speak" the language (or at least type it).

I tend to keep my opinions away from issues here on this board when it comes to things I am not involved in, ie-hauling cars. That's why you mainly see me over in the RV section most of the time. (and General Discussions)

I have a huge opinion and dislike with this car-dispatch.com crap though.

1 - From reading their posts here on our board, it is very clear that ENGLISH is NOT their main language. Read through their posting, clearly shows that they have attempted to show English as their main language as they type, but the structures of their sentencing reflects one who was not brought up within the American educational system.

2 - On their website in the "About Us" area it says "Our experienced, technical staff are experts in the data processing services......". It doesn't say a word about their EXPERIENCE in hauling automobiles, brokering automobiles for transport, previous work with carrriers or haulers, nothing, nothing at all.

3 - On page 1 of this thread they said "We are very happy with the result we bring ( BTW – cost us a fortune to develop and implement ). Cost a fortune??? For what??? You've got a TEMPLATED website design. If I do just a little research, and trust me, I know how to seek out what I am looking for online, just ask these guys, I BET YOU I could possibly find 2 dozen or more other websites that are formatted with this exact same format/program. I know I can find 100 other websites that are targetting the same market (auto haulers, carriers, brokers) that have the same offerings you are publishing.

4 - You state - "One of the aims of our Rating system is simple. We will kick out any problematic Carrier and enable ONLY good man to work for Brokers. This is Strict, and we will enforce it." This here will be a huge problem. Just as in hauling RV's and Automotive Freight, there are 2-3-4 sides to every complaint. Who's side are you eventually going to take?? If you "enforce" a set a rules against a carrier who was "in the right" the whole time, word will get around and customers (carriers/brokers/haulers) will run from your site to keep their reputation in good standings.

And 5 - My Biggie - I absolutely find this statement despicable.

"Since Central is the only Serious Board around, it will be nice and refreshing to have an alternative."

2 years ago this November a lot of uninformed illiterate voters thought a "refreshing alternative" would be the right choice to lead this country. Look at what their "alternative" has done to our country.

Central is serving these Carriers just fine. I don't believe it is Central that is involved in the lowball rates or lowball postings, it is the market in itself. Now how are you FOREIGNORS going to be able to change what the major issue is in auto hauling right now?? Rates!!! Trust me, rates will eventually climb back up on CD and your little site will have contributed nothing towards that increase.

I have you guys pegged here. "3 Little FOREIGNORS" that design websites for a living who are probably building different websites all over the place for various service type companies who are then copying/alterating the design you came up with for that customer and are now publishing your own websites hoping to get a little piece of that action too.

Finally, if you're going to keep your website up, PLEASE find someone who's main language is English, and who was brought up with at least a decent education, to proof-read and edit that website of yours, OK. It seriously needs it.
