Hello everyone, I got to this site via Gary's ltl forum.
Right now the main thing I'm looking for is a good template for vehicle inspection forms, and BOLs that actually make sense for car hauling (unlike the kind you can get in a truck stop). I found the thread for the form generator here on the forum, but the link doesn't work.
Also wondering if there's any kind of standard way to have a form that says a customer has authorized you to move their car. A lot of my business comes from people who bought a car via the internet, found me via the internet, and deal with me entirely via the internet and phone until I actually deliver their car. They're not businesses, so faxing paperwork back and forth isn't really an option. I always have the person I'm picking the vehicle up FROM sign something, but even then that's not always an option - I've had people mail me the key to the storage unit they've got their car in 1,000 miles from home, for example.
