They are a high quality trailer. Manufactured 20 minutes from my house. They are built a bit on the heavy side. They use a lot of torsion axles. Not sure which one this has.

Ive owned 2 of these. Liked them very much. Built very well, can take a hell of a load.. Downside is the ones i had both had 2 7k axles. Very under rated for the job you are asking it to do. I dont have any experience with the tandems that this one has, but im not a fan of torsion suspension. if you dont have it leveled just right, your working one axle harder than the other and that tends to make things bad.

Huh, odd. I usually agree 100% w/ what Angelo says... this time I beg to differ.
I had a 1998 Easy Haul 48' wedge as my first trailer. 7k torsion axles (x2). The ONLY reason I don't own it today is because I needed that extra 5' that and the extra 6k of axle capacity that my Take3 with Super Singles provides.
I didn't like the chain tie downs, but a plasma cutter and a couple afternoons could have cured that... just wasn't worth the investment for a 48' 14k lb trailer.
I've said before that torsion axle was the best riding/towing trailer I've been around... especially when empty.
There was another thread or two on this... one where I tout the torsion axle and one where Haul Around said he has seen a couple of Beatrice (Easy Haul) trailers with MAJOR rust issues... I'll see if I can find those threads.
The biggest glitch with Torflex axles are when they put them on triple axle set ups. Dexter says in their literature that it is a bad thing, yet mfg's still sell them that way. I asked customer service their reasoning & they said the same as Cosgo, particularly when backing over uneven surfaces. Can tweak the spring deal & have to replace it all...
Have never owned one, ordered my first flatbed with them but the mfg screwed up the order, think I still paid for them though. Grrr!
Forgot to post that I know where that trailer is sitting. If you need me to stop by there over the weekend, just let me know.
