This guy bought this car brand new the day he graduated high school. He did a frame off resto. on it about 2 years ago. 1965 Impala ss 327. The vett is his also.

That body style has always been one my favorites. Red, torgue thrust rims, Firestones, I like it!!

Just from looking at these 2 pictures, it looks like the restoration was done correctly. It's missing the chrome piece going down the edge of the doors though, and those extra lights up on the fenders were NOT an option with the 2 door SS package. I think those lights were options only available on the Impala Wagons and were mainly ordered when the wagons were being put in use by city departments. (Fire-Police-etc) Might want to bring this up when you drop the car off. Whoever threw those things up there during the restoration should have known better. Either that, or your friend was that one odd-ball that put them on there after he purchased that car back in '65 and "thinks" it adds to the value of the car. My opinion, they look like crap.

If I had a chance to buy this car, I'd dye my hair black, put in brown contacs, and go embarass all the Asian Ricers with this thing!!

Of course, I could never get out of the car after I whipped their butts with pure American Muscle. Don't see too many 6-6'1 180lb 17 year old Asians running around, do ya?? :D :D :D
