I was driving down I76 today and wasn't really paying attention to the west bound traffic but out of the corner of my eye I seen an older freightliner pulling a refer with a 1 car headrack with a car on it. Don't know how he got it up there or how he is getting it off. My guess is it is a copart car and he is having it forked off but I didn't see any damage on my side. That's just something you don't see everyday. I've seen a truck before pulling a freight trailer with a headrack before (maybe the same truck) but just thought that is how they bought it or they use to haul cars but that is what I would call making money with every availabe space possible, hell he probally had some cats and dogs in the sleeper off of Ushit.

I could be wrong here but I'm pretty sure he had a set of ramps somewhere. We used to see a few HHG haulers with headramps to carry one on top and still have the room for a full trailer. Now that most trucks have high cab aerodynamic sleepers it's kinda went out of fashion. Would be interesting to know for sure what the circumstance was.

I'm real curious to see how they get them on and off. Those would have to be some super long ramps I would think. I think the guys that haul cars on drop decks use 16' ramps.
