I'm thinking of getting into the business. I have my eye on a 1998 Ford E350 Cutaway Dually with a 7.3l turbo. It also has airbags on the rear axle. Does anyone know if this will make a good starter vehicle to haul a 3 car wedge and what is the rear axle weight limit for it? I have searced all over the web and can't find that info.

You might be able to find it there. Good luck. The rear axle weight might be low as well as the gvcw. But I'm not sure.http://www.thedieselstop.com/forums/f6/

Have the owner look at the tag in the door jamb. It'll list GVWR and the axle capacities.

Thanks for your help. I did get some more information from the owner and I'm pretty sure it won't meet my requirements. I did get the VIN number from the own and after doing more research I found not only was the axle weight pushing it, the engine was not sufficient either. It's max HP was 275 for that particular model and I'd like at the very minimum 300 HP and preferrably 350.
Also, it was a short wheel base and would not allow me to add a sleeper to it. I still have time to look around so I'll just keep on looking for the right equipment. Any suggestions?
