View Full Version : I dont know about you...
but I'm not gonna pay them for headache of bidding on the limited crap they have posted. Hell, I can do that for free on u$hit.
Besides that, it seems mostly tailored for 8-9 car guys, aka Full Loads anyway.
Just doesn't seem like the smart way to go. Maybe if we ganged up on them and booked together it may work. But for now it seems that the drop in McNutt/RAT loads due to these guys could stick around for a bit until more of the big trucks drop from undercutting each other on full loads.
I refuse to give them my CC

We don't play with them either... We are not going to bid DOWN the price of frieght. Thank you for playing, anyway.
If you look at their address and phone numbers I think you'll reach the same conclusion that we did... That they are somehow tied to or related to the company we kindly refer to as JaMmiN' who have single handedly done a pretty fine job of running rates along the Chicago to St. Louis corridor into the crapper... unless of course you LIKE spending an hour to find and load a car, 5 hours moving it and then unloading it all for $125.
They are mostly nice folks over there, but an awful lot of the time the cars are not where they are supposed to be and/or one of their own trucks beats you to it... We still haul for them occassionally, when the rate is right and we need a filler, but we NEVER build loads around their cars... and their theory on rates differs from ours...

I appreciate your concerns, but I wanted to clarify a few things.
First - our $20 fee. That fee, and a similar $20 fee we get from the shipper, is all we get to run our business and provide customer service to both shippers and carriers. We have a full-time professional back office available to help with anything you need from 7am to 7 pm Central five days a week.
JMN. We are part-owned by the owner of JMN. But we operate independently, actually housed in and operated by Business Integration Technology, Inc. JMN bids on most of our loads and they have to compete just like any other carrier.
Rates. This is really important. AutoTransMart provides a level playing field where the largest carriers compete fairly with one-truck mom-and-pops. How do they compete? On price, delivery, and quality rating. If you run a great service and deliver promptly and on time, you will win a lot of loads at AutoTransMart. Rates matter but more than half of our loads do not go to the low bidder.!
Give me a call if you would like to talk about this further. 314-856-9668.
Have a great holiday season.
