Yes you get notified if you win the bid on ushit. In the mean time someone else has loaded it and delivered it off CD. Welcome to Ushit!! They suck!!

It does show who won the bid. The post on central are pure bullshit. Just remember those brokers names. It shows their morals and if you ever do deal with them just remember how they are and don't put up with an ounce of their crap. Just assume everything that comes out of thier mouth is a lie. Guilty until proven innocent.

One auction has the shipper answer to the broker's question/offer with 'i accept this bid' but its not showing that the bid was selected. It's still letting me bid, i dont get it. Are they getting to the shipper outside of uship somehow?

How is that possible? it seems like there isnt a way to contact the customer unless your bid is accepted.

It's not hard to go around them with a little research

What most likely happened is that the broker has posted it on central to get a commitment from a carrier on price so he is sure how low he can bid. Bid has not been accepted/not a confirmed order. Happens all the time thats why you see a car triple posted sometimes. Aaaand uship sucks I dont really think it is worth the time.

I tried U-Ship to find a couple of bikes to fill a load, what a joke. That and the rates are so cheap,it's not worth it. I get calls from people who post on U-Ship, accept a transporters bid and then can't figure out why they won't come and get it, when they tell me how much they are paying, I tell them I wouldn't haul it for that price either.

Hi Larry31,

As a uShip Service Provider, you will receive notification whenever one of your bids has been accepted via the site. uShip.com has no way of knowing when a customer has listed an item on Central Dispatch or any website other than our own. So, if a customer lists a vehicle for shipment on uShip and on CD, books on CD and doesn't take the responsibility for pulling the listing off uShip, it will still exist until its expiration. Unfortunately, there is no way for us, as a company completely independent of CD, to know this has happened.

If you have any additional questions about how the site works, please contact us directly at "removed"

Best,

Jami with uShip

lol, uship is great if you want to go broke. I lost two trailers, single pulls, to uship. someone bid them out at .85 cents per mile per unit. no tolls or permit fees either. a 1885 mile trip one way for BOTH units he is charging 3200.00...1600 per unit. He is about half so I can see why the customer used him, cheap rates, no insurance and when his trailers are stuck in another state...... And the fact that it will take him a few weeks to get them since the guy is doing them back to back. hope he doesn't break down otherwise his 450.00 profit will be eaten up...

Hello all new member here.I been a member for Uship.com about 3 months now and I gotta say,uship.com is a joke!I fully DOT and MC legal and there no way I can make any profit off of uship.com.I haul boats and and trailers (campers, cargo trailers etc) and those people expect a fully legal transporter to tow there boat for lease .50 cents per mile! Now that's nuts! I only pick up 1 job off of Uship but that's it.Now I read that if you are a TSP with 90% + good feedback, they are charging those TSP a membership fee.Is that true? Also I find that people post shipments who just turns out to be window shoppers and Uship refused to removed those listing.Uship is only in it for the money.
