All loads from uship.com are subject to sales tax correct?
The bid price should include everything for the customer or do they pay the sales tax on top of the bidding price?
Do i need to charge sales tax based on the bid amount or the amount left after Uship takes their fee?
I want to try Uship out, obviously its different than working with a dispatcher since they take care of everything for you. I want to make sure i don't miss anything. Thank you everyone for the support and help you offer here.

I wouldn't think it's taxable at all...I don't think any state has a sales tax on services, including shipping services. I could be wrong. I'd like to know the answer to this myself. I thought that all state sales taxes were just on tangible retail items.

Its a service not a product so its not subject sales tax (at least in our home states).

Hi Larry,
Thanks for your interest in uShip! All bids on uShip must be all-inclusive. This means your bid must include all fees, taxes, fuel, tolls, etc. that you may charge the customer. Any tax charged through uShip itself is included in the fees, so you don't have to worry about that portion. I hope this answered your question. Please feel free to contact us via **removed** with any addition questions.
Best,
Jami with uShip
**email addresses from UShip are not permitted.

REALLY......... If you would like to work for FREE then go for it. If you are a legal carrier there are better places to make money.
This business is hard enough as it is. USHIT is not the way to make a living.

I would normaly call the Quality Control card right now but>>>>>>>
They both SAY they are located in TX BUT the zip code provided upon signing up(for Charles) in not a valid US zip code. It is located in Mexico. Close enough!
Just kind of funny that after I responded, He was online for a while. Then left and came back again an still no response. CASE CLOSED
