Need to put some tires on the new trailer. 235/75/17.5 load range H 6k single rating. If anyone has a good place to deal with that will ship them let me know. I need them by next week. Having tough time finding them in Mi and my modem just took a crap. So I have to use the phone until they get me a modem. Phone service sucks at my house.

Chicago Tire. Ron is the guys name. They are Chinese but I've been buying Sampson 235/17.5s from him for around $165. Provide a BOL and pick them up and you won't pay sales tax either.
I do know that he has been fighting off a price increase for some time so they may be a bit higher now... been 3 months or so since I've bought any and he has said the last couple of times that he would be increasing soon...

I figured they would cost at least that much. Have you had any wear issues with yours? Are the ones your running load range h. Thanks.

sounds like a good deal to me. i just today bought the first replacement tires for my gooseneck since switching to goodyears. (got about 150-170k on them) they were $345 a piece for 16" tires. Next time around, ill just buy 2 new axles and go with the 17.5's on there.

Wear issues are constant on my Take3 but it doesn't matter what tires are on it they wear in a "diagonal scalloping" pattern. Maybe it is because they drag so much in tight places, maybe it is because the axle moves fore/aft 96" to set the tail of the trailer on the ground and so it is never perfectly aligned, maybe... who knows???
The cheap Aeolus tires that were on it when I got it lasted less than 6 months. Worn stupidly. I bought some Michelin take offs that had great tread but were OLD and I had minimal wear issues with them. Of course they blew out right and left so they never had a CHANCE to wear funny. 6 more months of fighting those...
I then tried 2 sampson and 2 hercules tires. 1 sampson wore uneaven weird. There were 5 ribs of tread, adn the inner, outer and center wore fine, but the 2 "between" ribs wore 2x as fast. I ended up tearing that tire up before I could get it looked at for warranty.
I then ran exclusively Hercs, some from Chicago Tire and some from local places until Hercules priced themselves entirely out of the market.... Back to Sampsons with the last 2 tires, so we'll see how they hold up.

I ended up getting some Cooper Roadmasters. We'll see how they do. $244 out the door. Hopefully they last a year or more. The Sampson tires were $230 out the the door so I figured might as we'll get a brand name.
