Newbie in the auto hauling biz. I own a Classic VW Camper bus rental company and have had to delivery and pick up my buses all over the country. Well one thing led to another and I decided in my down time and with the equipment I already owned I might as well haul autos when I drop my buses to renters and in the slow season. I own a few trucks including an older f-350 that I used to haul single car trailer with and a midsized topkick w/sleeper with a custom built 53ft wedge trailer. I will have lots of stupid questions I'm sure but just wanted to shout out to all the nice guys here. I have read most of the posts and my head is spinning. Hope I can get everything right and learn this business without getting my butt handed to me. :)

That's awesome guys. We actually order stuff from go westy and love our vw's it's a unique way to make a living but as long as it pays the bills I'm happy. And oddly enough that biz is why I'm into auto hauling. Heck I figured we traveled through 41 states last summer delivering and picking up our buses why not try to make money hauling too. Thanks whit

Very cool idea and business you have Steve. Welcome to the site.

Thanks, we actually get some of all groups, we've had retired professors, young hippie wannabe's and middle aged hippies. The oddest thing was about half of our business was from Europe I guess they are still in touch with the VW thing. It was my best strategy to get my wife to allow me to have old cool stuff. :)
