i didnt know it was a single axle. so you only have 3 axles and 10 tires? if it works out weight wise, thats awesome

Yes, that's correct. The tractor is a single axle and the trailer has a 20k axle. I will register at 54,000 lbs

I'd love that for the tolls around here!

With that set-up he should be able to scale 24k of load every time without a problem. I'm guessing the truck weighs around 15k & trailer about 9k. Should be a good money maker for him with the least amount of maintenance and tolls. Get them hooked up and take some pics, get some up close ones!!!

Will do, working hard on getting it road ready. I scaled the tractor at my local co-op and with 1/4 tank of fuel and no tools ,etc, it weighed almost 13,500. Got the lift working again (wiring). Going to have to redo that mess. Having new hydraulic lines made up, re-sealing the cylinders. Hopefully the winch works (cheapo) and nothing is wrong with the air ride. Tires are shot but may have to run a trip or two with them, 22.5's. Probably has 1-2 full days of welding and patching. It should be a decent trailer when I'm done with it.

Thanks coop

Welding shop is still working on it...slooooowly. They are cool though, and let me work on it at the same time with some of the stuff I'm trying to get done. I removed all of the hydraulic lines today, taking them in to get new ones made. I also removed the cylinders to have rebuilt. Ordering tires on Monday, should have them mid-week. Replaced the toolbox latches, battery, and 3 chains. Still working on the wiring as I see more issues. As I fix one thing I find another...son-of-a........
