Nice little Jeep! I've had a couple YJ's, a TJ, couple CJ's and couple Cherokees, man are they addictive!

Damn! Good buy Lee! The YJ isn't my favorite, but that deal would be hard to pass up! I had a '75 CJ5 back in high school. Some day I'll have a Jeep again...

The last one I had was a 48' cj2a I had over $20k in. This one is in such great shape for its age and for the price I just couldn't pass it by! I live about an hour from the entrance to the Rubicon. For 10 years I had a 20 acre place about 15 miles from the Rubicon. Old home stompin grounds!! If you want to have some real fun try the Barret's lake jeep trail. 6 miles one way and if your lucky you can do the round trip in 14 hours!

Looks like you snagged a nice one Buster! I had an 80 cj5, 304 v8 with a 3 speed and it was nothing but fun! But living in the midwest, the rust took over and eventually there was little left of it.

Slim, I had the same thing but a year older. Lifted it and put a set of 33" s on it. Fell into a hole in the Platte River, only could see the top of the roll bar. Crapped my pants! Had to get a dozer to pull it out. They are super fun, hope you enjoy buster!

Lol, yeah I dropped mine off deep in the Black River a couple times, but then I put 38's on it and it would float as long as I didn't have it loaded down with fat girls!

I have a 97 TJ with 34's and a 92 YJ I bought the TJ about 8 years ago and been driving it ever since as my daily driver. The YJ I bought about 4 years ago for $500 bucks from a guy in the neighborhood next to me and he drove it to my house. I put a new starter on it and drove it to work a few times and I'm emberased to say I haven't done anything to it really since I got it. It needs a new top and the rims need to be taken off. Yes I'll say it again.....the rims need to be taken off. Out of 20 lug nuts 19 of them are lock nuts. It needs a few other things too. I'm not interested in getting rid of it it's just time just slips by just like my 4 wheelers and my rc cars and my fat ass from not working out and now all I do is sit on it and eat fast food.

Actually my YJ looks just like yours buster exept it doesn't have a hard top. Same color and rims but unfortunatly not in as good of shape or as low of miles. Has the 4 Bangor in it too.
